Neurological
A Neurological Assessment is an assessment of a patient's nervous system performed by a neurologist. The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves associated with these areas.
The assessment focuses on assessing the individual's sensory and motor skills, coordination, balance, reflexes, and functioning of the nerves.
It is important to have an understanding of how your nervous system is functioning and make sure there are no underlying problems that you aren't aware of. It is recommended to have a Neurological Assessment following progression over a disease, trauma, during a routine physical and for different forms of complaints such as headaches, blurry vision, dizziness, hearing loss, unexplained muscle weakness, numbness, tremors, skin sensitivity, and more.
